HellermannTyton Metal Content Tie

HellermannTyton announces the U.S. release of the Metal Content Tie. This new cable tie was designed for the food and beverage processing industries to meet safety standards set by HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) to minimize the risk of contamination. The Metal Content Tie is a nylon based tie with metal content dispersed throughout the head and strap. A unique manufacturing process, involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables even small “cut-off” sections on the tie to be detected by standard metal detection and X-ray equipment. The unique blue color assists in the visual detection and greatly reduces the risk of contamination and costly recalls.

With continued global success and increasing demand for adherence to safety standards, HellermannTyton’s US launch is expected to bring new solutions to major food and beverage companies and their processing facilities.

The Metal Content Tie comes in three sizes and tensile ratings. This flexible tie has a curved tip for easy application and can be used with any of the HellermannTyton cable tie tools.
